Ponce School of Medicine has joined efforts with Rush Medical College in Chicago. This joint effort takes place with the project titled "Endometriosis Knowledge Among Health Care Professionals". The alliance represents a step forward in endometriosis research and in the development of a network of professionals from Puerto Rico and Chicago. PSM has been recently featured in local news regarding our novel approach with various Endometriosis projects.  The purpose of the current study is to collect information from healthcare professionals, including medical students, on their level of understanding in recognizing, treating, and diagnosing endometriosis.Data collected will help develop educational programs for medical schools across the country aimed at improving the knowledge about this common and puzzling disease. If you have questions about the study, please contact Xavier Hernandez MSIII (xrhernandez@gmail.com) or Dr. Idhaliz Flores (iflores@psm.edu).

If you would like to contribute with this joint effort don't hesitate in contacting us.
