Earthquake in Puerto Rico

At  approximately 1:18 am , Puerto Rico has felt what appears to be one of the strongest earthquakes in its history. As editor of the Ponce Medicine Magazine I was working on some new articles when I suddenly felt the windows shaking and the power starting to fade at my house in the town of Manati, Puerto Rico.

I definitely felt it last for more than 10 seconds, and even saw paintings falling from the walls. After I felt it stopped I immediately posted a comment on Facebook to mark the time and let people know that what they were experiencing was an earthquake.

I have now confirmed that the earthquake was felt equivalently in the entire northern part of the island.

Current official reports are mentioning the actual time was 1:16am with a 5.7 magnitude on the Richter scale, 5 miles to the East of Anasco, Puerto Rico with a depth 68.4 miles.
